To request removal of a community photo, withdraw permission, or ask us to delete data held by the Wacky Sheep UGC app, email hello@wackysheep.com with the subject UGC removal.
Please include:
- Your Instagram handle or the credit displayed on the website.
- The original Instagram post link and/or the Wacky Sheep page where the photo appears, if available.
- Whether you want the photo removed from display, the app-held information deleted, a credit corrected, or all of these.
You do not need to connect your Instagram account to our app or have a Wacky Sheep customer account to make a request. Never send a password, login code, access token, payment details or identity document with the request. If needed, we will ask for proportionate proof of your authority over the account or photo.
After verification, we will remove the affected photo from the community gallery and linked product pages, remove its associated product assignments, and delete app-held candidate/review data that is no longer needed. We will confirm completion or explain any specific record we must retain and why. Removing content from our app does not delete your original Instagram post or unrelated store orders/customer records.
The Wacky Sheep team monitors these requests. Our response target is acknowledgement within 7 days; resolution of a verified request within 30 days, subject to any shorter applicable legal deadline. Display removal should be prioritized while any remaining deletion work is completed.
Authorized brand staff can also disconnect the app through Meta's business integration controls. Disconnecting access prevents future authorized API use but does not itself erase already collected local or Shopify records; contact us to complete that deletion.
